Having barely had time to catch my breath from rewriting Nickleback's Nonchalant, I found myself alone against a crowd of Blue Rodeo fans when I protested the band's visit in January 2017. I could not yet recall the music they stole, but I recognized my words in It Makes Me Wonder, and immediately copied it back to my account. By an astonishing and timely coincidence, the very next song I rewrote from scratch and recorded in my GarageBand program was Mischief. Exhausted from music violations, I withdrew into a more personal activity, cartoon invention, wishing to embellish my We're All Dying blog with colourful new images. Unfortunately, legal concerns arising from my ever increasing reconstruction of vast volumes of my previously shared content, especially mmusic and comedy, began to overshadow everything else. In search of peace, I retreated offline for the rest of the year. |
